I am Amber Glover and I love being a hairstylist! Color and highlights are my specialties. To me, there is nothing more rewarding than creating a new look for someone and seeing them smile. I believe it is about the client, what makes them happy, their lifestyle and their ability to maintain their style. I have been working as a stylist since 2004 and I love to be creative! I'm a hair stylist as well as an artist! I have my MFA in painting and have always viewed hair styling as a pure art form. Sculpting new and creative looks and keeping educated on the latest trends in the hair industry is one of my main goals. I specialize in inventive cuts, color and styles for men and women as well as makeup and up-dos.

I aim to give excellency to all my clients by giving them an specular service. Executing current trends and creating timeless classics allows my clients to creatively shine.

Kathleen Kunkle

I have been in Brighton for 17 years. I was a consultant with a major cosmetic company for over 13 years, and now get to do hair and make-up for a living! Someone once asked me, what type of client I was looking for. I said that I "don't focus on age, but a mind set. I want people who aren't afraid to make a change. I'm not talking radical, but, just an open-mindedness to try something new."

I am always looking for furthering my education, and have just returned from a local hair show. I took advanced classes on: razor cutting and texturizing, special occasion make-up and a new straightening system. I have also attended several other hair cutting classes and an introduction to Schwatrzkopf color.

I am looking forward to working with a new make-up line, Mirabella. It is a mineral make-up line with soothing ingredients like green tea and chamomile. I am looking forward to combining my experience with make-up application and passion with hair!

Claudia Myers

I have been a professionally licenced Nail Technician since 1993 and it has been my pleasure to be an employee of Shine Salon since 2007. I love meeting new clients and making them feel special. I get alot of personal satisfaction when their hands and feet the most beautiful they can be. I specialize in Pink and White acrylic extensions and spa style manicures for the hands. But my favorite service is pedicures. Nothing compares to a long soak followed by a relaxing foot massage and beautifully polished toes!

Hi, I am Laurie Cummings. I have been a nail technician since 1991. I absolutely love what I do! Above all I am dedicated to the overall health of your nails.
